Born in Connecticut and raised in Grosse Pointe, MI, Patrick is a graduate of New York University and a true "working actor". His credits run the gamut from theater and film to television, commercials, and industrials. His most recent movie, the Coen brothers BURN AFTER READING, starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt and John Malkovich, is always available on DVD and Blu-Ray, and his recent role as Timothy Kliner in THE ROYAL PAINS can be seen on the USA network in multiple reruns. Broadway appearance's include standing by for Ralph Fiennes in his Tony nominated performance as Frank Hardy in FAITH HEALER and Ken Ludwig's adaptation of 20TH CENTURY with Alec Baldwin and Anne Heche. His other Broadway credits include HEDDA GABLER with Kate Burton, DEATH OF A SALESMAN with Brian Dennehy, THE ADVENTURES OF TOM SAWYER, the Broadway workshop production of IVORY JOE COLE directed by Kenny Leon and TRINITY, a workshop based on the novel by the late Leon Uris. Off-Broadway credits include critically acclaimed performances in the Drama Desk and Obie Award winning productions of ALL THE WAY HOME and THE DARK AT THE TOP OF THE STAIRS, both directed by Jack Cummings III and produced by TRANSPORT GROUP. Other Off Broadway work includes the Platform Theater production of Lee Blessing's TWO ROOMS at the Lion Theater and Theaterworks USA's HENRY & MUDGE at the Lucille Lortel, both directed by Peter Flynn, the World Premiere of THE UNDERPANTS by Steve Martin at Classic Stage Company, SNAKEBIT by David Marshall Grant at the Century Theater and THE RISE OF DOROTHY HALE at St. Luke's Theater. Patrick was also part of the 2003 Obie Award winning MOLLY'S DREAM at Soho Rep. Patrick's regional credits include Disney's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL at the Papermill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey, directed by Papermill Artistic Director Mark Hoebee and MAME with Michelle Lee and ANNIE GET YOUR GUN with Jenn Colella, both at the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera. Other regional work includes RICHARD II at the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey and FLIGHT OF THE LAWNCHAIR MAN and VERY GOOD EDDIE at Goodspeed Opera House, a production which won the Connecticut Critics Award for Best Musical of 2003, BETRAYAL at the McCarter Theater in Princeton, NJ and PENTECOST at Yale Rep in New Haven, CT. Still other regional work includes KING LEAR at the Whole Theater in Montclair, NJ and 1776 & DANCING AT LUGNASA at the Pioneer Theater in Salt Lake City,Utah. Patrick also spent 3 years and performed in many productions at the Williamstown Theater Festival in Williamstown, MA including DEATH TAKES A HOLIDAY with Christopher Reeve, Blythe Danner & Maria Tucci, THE LEGEND OF OEDIPUS with Joe Morton and Joan Van Ark, MARAT/SADE with Rebecca De Mornay, HENRY IV directed by Austin Pendleton and HOW I FELL IN LOVE, directed by David Lee. In the summer of 2003 Patrick narrated the reenactment of the 200th Anniversary of the Alexander Hamilton - Aaron Burr Duel below the cliffs of Weehawken, NJ for C-Span. His TV credits include the LAW & ORDER triple crown; LAW & ORDER, with the late Jerry Orbach, LAW & ORDER: S.V.U and LAW & ORDER: Criminal Intent. Other television credits include SPIN CITY as Heather Locklear's boyfriend Rob and many, many daytime dramas. Film credits include SOMEWHERE IN THE CITY and LOVE WALKS IN with Denis Leary. Patrick is also cited in Mari Lyn Henry and Lynne Rogers book HOW TO BE A WORKING ACTOR for his unique approach and self marketing tools to continually succeed as a working actor. Patrick has been a proud member of Actors Equity since 1990, as well as an active member of the Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA. He is also and an avid hockey fan and player. |
